Nembrini Audio IR Loader [WiN]
Thanks to the Crunck V1 Igor was hired by one of the most important companies in audio DSP development, Brainworx, and for them, he developed the most famous guitar and bass amp plugins on the market.
Nembrini Audio IR Loader [WiN]
This plugin is an innovative and complete impulse response loader specially designed to load your favorite cabinet IRs. It also allows you to manipulate them with guitar and bass tuned tools like the six-band parametric equalizer and the custom desk compressor.

The new Nembrini Audio IR Loader Impulse Response Tool Plugin for your DAW will run on Mac, PC, and iOS devices, which covers most systems. Essentially the new plugin is a suite of tools that allows guitar players and audio engineers to get a high quality guitar tone within a digital workspace. Utilising Impulse Response technology to tailor your guitar tones, you can organise your virtual cabinets, and then sculpt them with a variety of tools, all in a single application.
The latest Nembrini Audio En Hardball Guitar Amplifier plugin is based on an ENGL Powerball II and offers you some deep crushing tones for your DAW. This plugin is perfect for metal tones, as it comes complete with virtual cabinets, an IR loader and virtual microphones.
I like the way that Nembrini organises the virtual cabinets and the IR loader. Because everything you need is in one place and it is simple to set up good tones within the plugin. Having this all in hand makes for an enjoyable experience when recording. I like simplicity and so this all appeals very much to me.
So, in my sadness at this thing, I recalled the wonderful IR system in the equally wonderful Rhino. Then it hit me - Rhino is modular, so if I want an IR loader to use with my Nembrini apps, which sometimes sound better, I can just switch off the ampy bits in Rhino and use it as an IR and/or effects processor. Works a treat. Slightly more expensive, but much better value.
If you have your IRs well organised in Files (I have mine on iCloud with folders and subfolders) you can just point the IR loader there and it seems to remember where your files are for next time. So in effect it's not that different to just selecting presets in IMPULStation for example, except that you're using Files rather than presets. The only real downside is that there are no arrows to go from one IR to another.
My only complaint about thu rigs is about the speakers. To my ears, they are really the weak point of all of them.Using external IR is just night and day difference. Most of these rigs sound harsh and unnatural without external irs.Fortunately, you can disable the cab?.About Nembrini ir loader, you'll notice that even ownhammer notices in their manual that it can be a good idea to cut the highs of an IR at 8khz.It think that's why the EQ is available in this app.About the power amp section, from what I've heard from IGOR NEMBRINI,they may build guitar preamp sims in the future. You see what I mean??Having played with this,I think it is a very well done app. Thanks @NembriniAudio !
Impulse responses are stored as .wav files. You can create your own impulse responses, find free ones online, or buy them from companies or artists. These files can be loaded via an IR loader plugin (discussed later on).
Ugritone also has an IR loader plugin called the TRVE Cab Loader which allows you to load IRs in up to eight different slots. This means you can mix and match these slots to create a much fuller tone with lots of room for tweaking and customizing.
There are plenty of free and paid impulse response loaders to choose from. Pulse is a great free IR loader to start with! However, check out our full list of free and paid IR loaders for more options.
It is important to remember that NaLex software only comes as an amp sim head. It means that you will need to use your own IR loader and a noise gate to get the finished guitar sound.
It is essential to know that this is only an emulation of the guitar head. Therefore, you will need to use your own IR loader and a noise gate to get the finished guitar sound.
